SEASON MEMBERSHIP

For season 2024/25, Little Athletics NSW is using a new registration platform. When setting up your child’s registrations, you will be required to upload a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate, or Passport as Proof of Age. This will only be required for the initial setup of the athletes profile. Please ensure you have a copy of this Proof of Age ready when you register. (PDF, JPG, PNG formats are accepted)

  • Membership commences on the 1st of September and expires on the 31st of September the following year.
  • Membership fees are a combination of Athletics NSW/Little Athletics NSW and The Ponds Little Athletics fees.
  • The Ponds LAC Summer season 2024/25 runs from September 2024 to March 2025.

Athletics is run entirely by volunteers and as such parents are required to assist on Friday evenings. This can be anything from helping on the BBQ to being an age manager or just helping the age manager run the events during the evening – timekeeping, measuring, writing down results etc. None of the jobs are very difficult and we are happy to teach you.

REGISTRATION DAY

Our registration day is at Peel Reserve on the following days:

·       Sunday 8th  September from 2:00pm – 5:00pm

·       Thursday 12th September from 6:00pm – 7:30pm

On these days you can collect your registration pack, which includes your bib, age and Coles patch along with purchasing any uniform items on the day.

UNIFORM & COMPETITION BIBS

  • All athletes are required to wear correct The Ponds Athletics Uniform
  • Athletes will not be able to participate if they do not have thier registration bib "NO BIB, NO RUN"

Please remember that registration fees are non-refundable (as per ANSW).

TRAINING AT THE PONDS

  • The Ponds LAC offers 'General Training' for athletes in the club.
  • The cost is $30.00 fo the WHOLE season and includes a training shirt. This is NOT the club uniform which must be purchased seperately.
  • Training shirts MUST be worn to all sessions
  • Sessions are 5:00 - 7:00pm every Tuesday & Thursday

TRANSFERRING CLUBS

  • At the start of a new season athletes pick their club of choice without a formal transfer process.
  • If the season has commenced and you are already registered with a club you can only move clubs once per year.
  • To move to another club, you must contact your club or the club you wish to move to and request an Athlete Transfer.
  • If you wish to move clubs prior to a championship event you must request the transfer at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
  • Both clubs must approve the transfer request before it is authorised by Athletics NSW.

Please note: there is a $40.00 transfer fee payable to Athletics NSW.

*2024-25 season runs from 1 September 2024 until 30 September 2025
